About Me

Daniel was born in Minsk, Belarus. He grew up in Chicago, concertizing throughout the USA as a soloist and as part of ensembles. Also a seasoned orchestral musician, Daniel has worked with such conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez, Bernard Haitink, Sir Mark Elder, Kent Nagano and David Zinman. Daniel studied at the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK) with Rudolf Koelman (protege of Jascha Heifetz) and in Chicago with mentors Ilya Kaler and Alex Belavsky. Recent international music festival performances include Keshet Eilon (Israel), Menuhin Academy (Switzerland), Summit Festival (New York).
